Standing Hip Flexor Stretch

Iliopsoas, Rectus Femoris

Description

Stand tall. Step back with one leg, keeping your back heel lifted. Tuck your pelvis slightly and gently push your hips forward.

Progression

Increase the backward step, hold for longer

Feel sensation

Gentle pulling sensation in the front of the hip.

Arching the back, not tucking the pelvis
