Rectus Femoris (and hip flexors)
Description
Start in a tabletop position. Bring the right knee forward. Extend the left leg straight back. Focus on pressing the front of the left thigh towards the floor.
Progression
Deepen the stretch by walking hands further forward
Feel sensation
Stretch focused mainly on the hip flexors and a gentle pull at the quads.
Common mistakes
Twisting to much the extended leg, hunching over and collapsing to one side.
