Lying Knee Twist

Erector Spinae, Obliques, Quadratus Lumborum

Description

Lie on your back with knees bent, feet flat on the floor. Keeping your shoulders flat on the floor, gently lower both knees to one side. Hold briefly, then return to center and repeat on the other side.

Progression

Increase the range of motion, hold for longer

Feel sensation

Gentle stretch in the lower back and obliques.

Forcing the knees to the floor, lifting the shoulders
