Lying Chest Stretch (on foam roller)

Pectoralis Major, Pectoralis Minor

Description

Lie lengthwise on a foam roller, with your head and spine supported. Extend your arms out to the sides, palms up. Let gravity gently open your chest.

Progression

Hold for longer, use a slightly raised surface under the foam roller

Feel sensation

Gentle stretch across the chest.

Common mistakes

Arching the lower back, not relaxing the shoulders
