Cossack Squat

Adductor Magnus, Adductor Longus, Quadriceps, Glutes

Description

Stand with feet much wider than shoulder-width apart. Shift your weight to one side, bending that knee and lowering into a squat, keeping the other leg straight and foot flexed.

Progression

Increase depth of squat, increase repetitions

Feel sensation

Stretch in the inner thigh of the straight leg and activation in the bent leg.

Common mistakes

Not keeping chest up, rounding the back
